The earthquake which is M8.8 with the South America dust

The U.S. Geological Survey of Japan (USGS) reported on the 27th that there was an earthquake of magnitude (M) 8.3 on the Richter scale with the South America dust around 3:34 a.m. local time on the same day. Then, it revised upward with M8.8. The focus is about 115km from central country Concepcion in the Pacific coast to north-northeast, and the depth of the focus is about 35km. About 341km of Concepcion is separated from capital Santiago to southwest. The population of this city is about 200,000 people in the 2nd city of dust. Although the details of detailed human and material damage are unknown, only the occurrence of an earthquake with a bedtime-hour belt is anxious about casualties' generating. Santiago's hotel guest received the shake and has reported that the windowpane broke. It is said that there was no damage in a building main part. The power failure occurred in Santiago, Concepcion, etc. The Pacific Ocean tsunami watch center in Hawaii issued the tsunami warning for dust and Peru. It was reported that this center observed about 2.7m tsunami at the maximum. According to USGS, in the earthquake of M9.5, with dust, generating and 1655 persons have died in May, 1960. By the Caribbean Sea Haitian tray, it is supposed on January 12, last year that generating and around 200,000 victims came out the earthquake of M7.0.
